Ylämyllyn Yllätys

Ylämyllyn Yllätys was one of 12 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Ylämyllyn Yllätys, 45 other teams from 5 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Ylämyllyn Yllätys could be found in Group 9 together with Viggbyholms IK FF Röd, BK Häcken and BK Höllviken. Ylämyllyn Yllätys made it to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 9. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Sunnersta AIF with 0-1. Thereby Ylämyllyn Yllätys finished second in G13 Play off B during Gothia Cup 2017. Ylämyllyn Yllätys comes from Liperi which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
