ASEC

ASEC was the only club from the Ivory Coast that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17). In addition to ASEC, 36 other teams from 13 different countries played in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof ASEC could be found in Group 5 together with Jönköpings Södra IF, IFK Norrköping and ACBB Paris. ASEC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Right to Dream with 3-4. In the Final, Right to Dream won over TikiTaka Academy and became the winner of Play off A in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17). ASEC also participated in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (B17) during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in B17E Play off A, but lost it against AIK FF with 0-1. ASEC comes from Abidjan which lies approximately 6000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
