SV Rugenbergen

SV Rugenbergen was one of 69 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to SV Rugenbergen, 137 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof SV Rugenbergen could be found in Group 15 together with Solängens BK, FK Lillehammer 3 and Prep School Pumas 1. SV Rugenbergen continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Tynecastle Football Club with 0-1. In the Final, Antiguoko won over Coerver Coaching Tunisie and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Rugenbergen comes from Bönningstedt which lies approximately 480 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
