IFK Trelleborg

IFK Trelleborg was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to IFK Trelleborg, 118 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof IFK Trelleborg could be found in Group 5 together with IF Brommapojkarna, IF Böljan and Scandia United SA. IFK Trelleborg continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Tölö IF with 0-4. In the Final, TGK Worcestershire won over Gideonsbergs IF Vit and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. IFK Trelleborg comes from Trelleborg which lies approximately 270 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Trelleborg does also provide 28 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: BK Flagg, Lunds SK, Torna Hällestad IF, IFK Klagshamn, FC Bellevue, BK Höllviken, V. Ingelstad IS, Linero IF, Kvarnby IK and FIFH).
