Elite Football FC

Elite Football FC was one of 32 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Elite Football FC, 173 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof Elite Football FC could be found in Group 15 together with Athletico SC 1, Azalea BK 3 and Torns IF 1. Elite Football FC continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Prep School Lions 1 with 2-6. In the Final, Footgeneration FA Algarve won over IF Elfsborg and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Elite Football FC comes from Southampton which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Southampton does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Braishfield Bees FC and Eastleigh FC).
