Vasalunds IF

Vasalunds IF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15 Swe. In addition to Vasalunds IF, 36 other teams played in Boys 15 Swe. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Vasalunds IF could be found in Group 4 together with Helsingborgs IF, GAIS and Jönköpings Södra IF. Vasalunds IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Örebro SK with 0-7. In the Final, Örebro SK won over BK Forward and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15 Swe. Vasalunds comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 56 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Hanvikens SK, Enskede IK, Hammarby IF FF, Bollstanäs SK, Danderyds SK, Älta IF, Enebybergs IF, Ekerö IK, Huddinge IF and Essinge IK).
