Stord Fotball

Stord Fotball was one of 59 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Stord Fotball, 130 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Stord Fotball could be found in Group 19 together with Hisingsbacka FC, FC Rhenania Immendorf and United Soccer Club. Stord Fotball continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 19. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ordin FC 1 with 0-3. In the Final, Entente Sannois Saint Gratien won over Örgryte IS and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Stord Fotball also participated in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/32 Final in B18 Play off A, but lost it against ES. Eysines with 0-1. Stord Fotball comes from Stord which lies approximately 430 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Stord Fotball, the club Etne IL does also originate from the area around Stord.
