Sunderby SK

Sunderby SK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Sunderby SK, 98 other teams from 6 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Sunderby SK could be found in Group 24 together with IFK Klagshamn, Trosvik IF and Onsala BK 2. Sunderby SK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Lindö FF Norrköping with 0-1. In the Final, AIK FF won over Hammarby IF FF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. Sunderby SK comes from Luleå which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Luleå does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Lira BK, Bodens BK FF, Alviks IK, IFK Luleå, Sävast AIF, Bergnäsets AIK and Gammelstads IF).
