Hvaler/Kråkerøy

Hvaler/Kråkerøy was one of 59 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Hvaler/Kråkerøy, 118 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Hvaler/Kråkerøy could be found in Group 26 together with Jitex Mölndal BK, Alviks IK, St. Paul Blackhawks 1 and Sandvikens IF. Hvaler/Kråkerøy continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 26. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against TGK Worcestershire with 1-4. In the Final, TGK Worcestershire won over Gideonsbergs IF Vit and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Hvaler/Kråkerøy comes from Vesterøy which lies approximately 160 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Vesterøy does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Trosvik IF and Sarpsborg FK).
