AYSO Region 69

AYSO Region 69 was one of 50 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to AYSO Region 69, 129 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof AYSO Region 69 could be found in Group 1 together with Makati FC, AP Top 54 1 and Mossens BK. AYSO Region 69 continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against LFA Singapore 1 with 0-14. In the Final, Prep School Pumas 2 won over Gauldal Fotballklubb and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 11. AYSO Region 69 comes from Pacific Palisades which lies approximately 8800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Pacific Palisades does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Westside Breakers, LA Galaxy Conejo and OLYMPIACOS ACADEMIC).
