V. Ingelstad IS

V. Ingelstad IS was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to V. Ingelstad IS, 173 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof V. Ingelstad IS could be found in Group 17 together with CEF 18 Tucuman 2, Örgryte IS 1 and Villa Park Tunisia. V. Ingelstad IS continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against IFK Göteborg with 0-4. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over SC Nienstedten and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. V. Ingelstad IS comes from Vellinge which lies approximately 260 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Vellinge does also provide 35 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Södra Sandby IF, BK Flagg, Lunds SK, IF Lödde, Furulunds IK, Torna Hällestad IF, IFK Klagshamn, FC Bellevue, BK Höllviken and Linero IF).
