Linero IF

Linero IF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Linero IF, 137 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Linero IF could be found in Group 34 together with Goliardicapolis 1993, KSV Klein-Karben 1 and SK Sprint-Jeløy 2. Linero IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 34. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against FC Djursholm with 0-2. In the Final, Antiguoko won over Coerver Coaching Tunisie and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Linero IF also participated in Boys 12 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/64 Final in B12 Play off A, but lost it against Markaryds IF with 7-8. Linero comes from LUND which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around LUND does also provide 37 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Södra Sandby IF, BK Flagg, Lunds SK, Trollenäs IF, IF Lödde, Furulunds IK, Torna Hällestad IF, Ödåkra IF, IFK Klagshamn and FC Bellevue).
