Potomac Soccer Association

Potomac Soccer Association was one of 50 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Potomac Soccer Association, 137 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Potomac Soccer Association could be found in Group 16 together with SC Nienstedten, Lerkils IF and PFC Lokomotiv-Plovdiv town. Potomac Soccer Association continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Enebybergs IF 1 with 1-3. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over A.S. México and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Potomac Soccer Association comes from Potomac, Maryland which lies approximately 6400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
