Valbo FF

Valbo FF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Valbo FF, 118 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Valbo FF could be found in Group 8 together with Alemannia Aachen, SK Hardhaus and Ekerö IK. Valbo FF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Gideonsbergs IF Blå with 1-3. In the Final, Team Odense Q won over FC Djursholm and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Valbo comes from Gävle which lies approximately 430 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Gävle does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (IK Huge, Högbo AIK, Torsåkers IF, Hagaströms SK, Gefle IF, Sandvikens IF, Brynäs IF/FK and Årsunda IF).
