Niendorfer TSV was one of 69 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Niendorfer TSV, 137 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Niendorfer TSV could be found in Group 23 together with Asre, Løv-Ham, Sollentuna FK 2 and BK Häcken 1. Niendorfer TSV continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Coerver Coaching Tunisie with 0-3. In the Final, Antiguoko won over Coerver Coaching Tunisie and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Niendorfer comes from Hamburg which lies approximately 470 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
