IFK Östersund 2

In addition to the two IFK Östersund teams, 178 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof IFK Östersund 2 could be found in Group 32 together with Fjolnir 2, Cap Jeune 31 and IFK Skövde FK 1. IFK Östersund 2 continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 32. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Skjetten Fotball with 0-4. In the Final, Phoenix Football Academy won over IK Zenith and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. IFK Östersund also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/64 Final in B15 Play off A, but lost it against FC Bangkok with 3-4.
