IFK Östersund 1

In addition to the two IFK Östersund teams, 178 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof IFK Östersund 1 could be found in Group 33 together with Keflavik, Rahlstedter, SC and FK Fjellhamar. IFK Östersund 1 continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against FBK Karlstad with 4-5. In the Final, Cap Jeune 31 won over V. Frölunda IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. IFK Östersund also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/64 Final in B15 Play off A, but lost it against FC Bangkok with 3-4.
