Lindsdals IF

Lindsdals IF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Lindsdals IF, 118 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Lindsdals IF could be found in Group 6 together with Falköpings KIK, Stryn and Kallhälls FF. Lindsdals IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Gideonsbergs IF Vit with 0-2. In the Final, TGK Worcestershire won over Gideonsbergs IF Vit and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Lindsdals comes from Kalmar which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kalmar does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Mönsterås GoIF, Färjestadens GoIF, IFK Kalmar, Kalmar FF and IF Pluss Köping).
