IFK Luleå

IFK Luleå was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to IFK Luleå, 203 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 50 different groups, whereof IFK Luleå could be found in Group 50 together with BV Cloppenburg, SK Sprint-Jeløy and IFK Österåker. IFK Luleå continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 50. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Eskilstuna City FK with 0-5. In the Final, Gerdskens BK won over Eskilstuna City FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. IFK Luleå comes from Luleå which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Luleå does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Lira BK, Bodens BK FF, Alviks IK, Sunderby SK, Sävast AIF, Bergnäsets AIK and Gammelstads IF).
