Ingarö IF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Ingarö IF, 45 other teams from 6 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Ingarö IF could be found in Group 10 together with KFV Segeberg, Kullabygdens DFF and Jitex Mölndal BK. Ingarö IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Sunnersta AIF with 0-4. In the Final, Sunnersta AIF won over Ylämyllyn Yllätys and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 13. Ingarö comes from Ingarö which lies approximately 410 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ingarö does also provide 50 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Hanvikens SK, Enskede IK, Hammarby IF FF, Danderyds SK, Älta IF, Enebybergs IF, Huddinge IF, Essinge IK, Älvsjö AIK FF and Saltsjöbadens IF).
