FC Süderelbe

FC Süderelbe was one of 69 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to FC Süderelbe, 137 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof FC Süderelbe could be found in Group 32 together with FC Djursholm, SK Sprint-Jeløy 1 and JDFS Alberts. FC Süderelbe continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 32. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Antony Sport Fotball with 0-4. In the Final, Antiguoko won over Coerver Coaching Tunisie and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. FC Süderelbe comes from Hamburg which lies approximately 500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hamburg does also provide 19 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Rahlstedter, SC, USC Paloma Hamburg, Altona 93, Tsv Eintracht Immenbeck, SV.West-Eimsbüttel, Walddörfer SV, SC Vier- und Marschlande Hamburg, Blau-Weiß 96 Schenefeld, TuS Germania Schnelsen and Niendorfer TSV).
