Qviding FIF

Qviding FIF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Qviding FIF, 61 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Qviding FIF could be found in Group 9 together with Eskilsminne IF, SK Haugar, Enskede IK and Piao Pires FC. Qviding FIF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Kungsbacka DFF with 0-1. In the Final, Lyn Fotball won over Eskilsminne IF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Qviding FIF also participated in Girls 18 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in G18 Play off A, but lost it against Bossekop UL with 6-7. Qviding FIF originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 66 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Guldhedens IK, Backatorp IF, Hovås-Billdal IF, Alingsås KIK, Kållered SK, Hjuviks AIK, Mölndal Fotboll, IK Kongahälla, Lunden ÖBK and Särö IK).
