FC Gessel-Leerssen

FC Gessel-Leerssen was one of 69 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to FC Gessel-Leerssen, 173 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof FC Gessel-Leerssen could be found in Group 42 together with Lokomotiv Sofia, Kungsbacka IF 2 and Jönköpings Södra IF 1. FC Gessel-Leerssen continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 42. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against JDFS Alberts with 1-4. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over SC Nienstedten and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12.
