FC Hessleholm

FC Hessleholm was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to FC Hessleholm, 118 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof FC Hessleholm could be found in Group 14 together with Hanvikens SK, Landvetter IF and Lillehammer KFK 2. FC Hessleholm continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Ryerson SC 02 Girls with 0-1. In the Final, Team Odense Q won over FC Djursholm and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. FC Hessleholm comes from HÄSSLEHOLM which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around HÄSSLEHOLM does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: IFK Osby, Wisseltofta IF, Markaryds IF, IFK Hässleholm, Råstorp/Timsfors IF, Åsums BK, Nosaby IF, IFK Knislinge, Vittsjö GIK and Vinslövs IF).
