Bergdalens IK

Bergdalens IK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Bergdalens IK, 129 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof Bergdalens IK could be found in Group 14 together with Hoops, Blau-Weiß 96 Schenefeld 2 and Prep School Lions 1. Bergdalens IK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Blau-Weiß 96 Schenefeld 1 with 0-3. In the Final, Prep School Pumas 2 won over Gauldal Fotballklubb and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 11. Bergdalens comes from Borås which lies approximately 60 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Borås does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Alingsås KIK, IF Elfsborg, HUS, IFK Örby, Holmalunds IF, Kinna IF, Sjömarken/Sandareds IF, Gerdskens BK, Norrby IF and Ulricehamns IFK).
