Surte IS FK

Surte IS FK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Surte IS FK, 173 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 42 different groups, whereof Surte IS FK could be found in Group 23 together with ACOS Treviglio 2, ACBB Paris 2 and Torns IF 2. Surte IS FK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Bele Barkarby IF 2 with 1-3. In the Final, Footgeneration FA Algarve won over IF Elfsborg and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Surte IS FK comes from Bohus which lies approximately 13 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bohus does also provide 65 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Guldhedens IK, Backatorp IF, Hovås-Billdal IF, Alingsås KIK, Kållered SK, Hjuviks AIK, Mölndal Fotboll, IK Kongahälla, Lunden ÖBK and Särö IK).
