In addition to Lerums IS, 203 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 50 different groups, whereof Lerums IS could be found in Group 13 together with Athletico SC, SA United SC and Eastleigh FC. Lerums IS continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Gerdskens BK with 1-6. In the Final, Gerdskens BK won over Eskilstuna City FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Lerums IS also participated in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the final in Play off B, but lost it against Walddörfer SV 1 with 0-3 and ended up in second place.
