Öjersjö IF

Öjersjö IF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 12. In addition to Öjersjö IF, 46 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Öjersjö IF could be found in Group 7 together with Stureby SK 2, Onsala BK 1 and Davis Alliance. Öjersjö IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Kullavik IF 2 with 0-4. In the Final, IF Väster 1 won over Azalea BK 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 12. Öjersjö originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 69 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Guldhedens IK, Backatorp IF, Hovås-Billdal IF, Alingsås KIK, Kållered SK, Hjuviks AIK, Mölndal Fotboll, IK Kongahälla, Lunden ÖBK and Särö IK).
