Lunden ÖBK

Lunden ÖBK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Lunden ÖBK, 215 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 53 different groups, whereof Lunden ÖBK could be found in Group 25 together with FC Ruskon Pallo, Tobo/Örbyhus FF and Ryerson SC 03 Boys. Lunden ÖBK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Prep School Lions 1 with 1-5. In the Final, Pequeninos do Jockey won over Lizzy Football Club and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Lunden ÖBK originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 64 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Guldhedens IK, Backatorp IF, Hovås-Billdal IF, Kållered SK, Hjuviks AIK, Mölndal Fotboll, IK Kongahälla, Särö IK, Sävedalens IF and HUS).
