AFM Avangard

AFM Avangard was one of two clubs from Russia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to AFM Avangard, 194 other teams from 41 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof AFM Avangard could be found in Group 15 together with IF Väster 1, Kista SC 2 and Fc Franconville PB. AFM Avangard continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Ligi Ndogo SC with 3-4. In the Final, Pumas Oro, Monterrey won over Azzurri and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12.
