SK Vorwärts Steyr

SK Vorwärts Steyr was one of five clubs from Austria that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to SK Vorwärts Steyr, 231 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof SK Vorwärts Steyr could be found in Group 56 together with IK Sirius FK 2, Odense kammeraternes SK and IFK Klagshamn. SK Vorwärts Steyr continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 56. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Walddörfer SV 1 with 0-4. In the Final, Walddörfer SV 1 won over Lerums IS 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. SK Vorwärts Steyr comes from Steyr which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
