FC Hamlets

FC Hamlets was one of 30 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to FC Hamlets, 137 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof FC Hamlets could be found in Group 33 together with PR-Academy, Trosvik IF Röd and Saints Eurostars. FC Hamlets continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Ostfrisia Moordorf, SV with 0-1. In the Final, Coerver Michigan Performance Academy won over IK Zenith and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. FC Hamlets comes from LONDOON which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around LONDOON does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Sporting Duet FC, Eton College, Kinetic Academy, Heath & Regents Park FC, Bromley Juniors FC, Young Parkonians FC, Academy FC, Lambeth Tigers FC and European Football Academy).
