Al-Ahli SC

Al-Ahli SC was one of five clubs from Jordan that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Al-Ahli SC, 194 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Al-Ahli SC could be found in Group 6 together with Hutchison Vale 1, Linero IF 1 and IFK Aspudden-Tellus 2. Al-Ahli SC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Upsala IF 1 with 1-11. In the Final, JSSL Arsenal Singapore won over Barkarö SK 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Al-Ahli comes from AMMAN which lies approximately 3400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around AMMAN does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Academy of Baghdad, Jordan Knights FA, FISA Jordan and Aspire Jordan FC).
