Norsborgs IF

Norsborgs IF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Norsborgs IF, 231 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Norsborgs IF could be found in Group 55 together with Orust Fotboll, IF Elfsborg, Weiche e.V., ETSV and SK Sprint-Jeløy 1. Norsborgs IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 55. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Kevin Nelson Soccer Academy with 1-3. In the Final, Senlis, U.S.M. won over Jordan Knights FA and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Norsborgs comes from Norsborg which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Norsborg does also provide 64 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: IFK Lidingö FK, Boo FF, Boo IS, Bollstanäs SK, Hammarby IF DFF, Enskede IK, Årsta FF, Rönninge Salem Fotboll, IF Brommapojkarna and Mälarhöjdens IK).
