Ashford Town Youth FC

Ashford Town Youth FC was one of 30 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Ashford Town Youth FC, 231 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Ashford Town Youth FC could be found in Group 2 together with SC Victoria 1, Kungshamns IF and Kallhälls FF. Ashford Town Youth FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Walddörfer SV 1 with 0-1. In the Final, Walddörfer SV 1 won over Lerums IS 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Ashford Town Youth FC comes from Ashford which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
