Nykvarns SK

Nykvarns SK was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Nykvarns SK, 137 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Nykvarns SK could be found in Group 23 together with BK Häcken 2, Oppsal IF 1 and Gameday Academy Bangalore. Nykvarns SK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Oppsal IF 2 with 0-1. In the Final, Coerver Michigan Performance Academy won over IK Zenith and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Nykvarns SK comes from Nykvarn which lies approximately 360 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nykvarn does also provide 24 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: Årsta FF, Rönninge Salem Fotboll, IF Brommapojkarna, Mälarhöjdens IK, Södertälje, FK, Stuvsta IF, Sundbybergs IK, Hammarby IF FF, IK Viljan and Sörskogens IF).
