Gasteiz Futbol

Gasteiz Futbol was one of 13 clubs from Spain that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Gasteiz Futbol, 98 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Gasteiz Futbol could be found in Group 3 together with Dallas Texans, Kärra KIF and LEFIS. Gasteiz Futbol continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against GAIS with 7-8. In the Final, BK Häcken won over JFV Hanse Lübeck and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Gasteiz Futbol comes from VITORIA which lies approximately 1900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around VITORIA does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Gasteizko Neskak and Gasteizko Neskak Groseko).
