Colégio Atlantico

Colégio Atlantico was one of 7 clubs from Portugal that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Colégio Atlantico, 137 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Colégio Atlantico could be found in Group 1 together with AP Top 54, Eimsbütteler TV and Kullavik IF. Colégio Atlantico continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against FC Este 2012 with 5-6. In the Final, Coerver Michigan Performance Academy won over IK Zenith and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Colégio Atlantico comes from R. Refúgio 30 - Quintinhas which lies approximately 2600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Colégio Atlantico, the club G.M.D. 1ºJulho Alcoitão does also originate from the area around R. Refúgio 30 - Quintinhas.
