Lanoria Club Maroc

Lanoria Club Maroc was one of five clubs from Morocco that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Lanoria Club Maroc, 231 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Lanoria Club Maroc could be found in Group 8 together with Åtvidabergs FF, BK Höllviken Vit and Hovås-Billdal IF. Lanoria Club Maroc continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Fornebu FK with 0-3. In the Final, Walddörfer SV 1 won over Lerums IS 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Lanoria Maroc comes from CASSABLANCA which lies approximately 3100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Lanoria Club Maroc, the club USCH does also originate from the area around CASSABLANCA.
