IFK Haninge

IFK Haninge was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to IFK Haninge, 194 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof IFK Haninge could be found in Group 37 together with VSK Osterholz-Scharmbeck, JSSL Arsenal Singapore and Husie IF 1. IFK Haninge continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 37. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Accademia I.C. with 2-3. In the Final, Pumas Oro, Monterrey won over Azzurri and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. IFK Haninge comes from Haninge which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
