It's Just Football

It's Just Football was one of 10 clubs from United Arab Emirates that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to It's Just Football, 98 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof It's Just Football could be found in Group 13 together with Manchester Grammar School, Tidaholms GIF and La Salésienne de Paris 2. It's Just Football continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IS Halmia with 1-3. In the Final, BK Häcken won over JFV Hanse Lübeck and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. It's Just Football comes from Dubai which lies approximately 5000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Dubai does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Alliance FC, Sport 4 All, The Football Academy Dubai, Precor, Go-Pro Sports and Match Sport).
