ES. Eysines

ES. Eysines was one of 21 clubs from France that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to ES. Eysines, 98 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof ES. Eysines could be found in Group 18 together with Frisia 03, SV, Skiold, SBK 2 and IFK Skövde FK. ES. Eysines continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against CEP Lorient with 0-2. In the Final, BK Häcken won over JFV Hanse Lübeck and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. ES. Eysines comes from EYSINES which lies approximately 1700 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than ES. Eysines, the club Bordeaux Elite FC does also originate from the area around EYSINES.
