Santa Monica United

Santa Monica United was one of 43 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Santa Monica United, 115 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Santa Monica United could be found in Group 3 together with Team Hudik/Näsviken, Tyresö FF 1 and Åhus IF. Santa Monica United made it to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against KFV Segeberg, which they won with 3-0. Thereby Santa Monica United won the entire Play off B in Girls 15 during Gothia Cup 2016.
