San Diego Football Academy

San Diego Football Academy was one of 43 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to San Diego Football Academy, 98 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof San Diego Football Academy could be found in Group 20 together with Scholastica, Oppsal IF and BK Häcken. San Diego Football Academy continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Vake-WIT with 0-2. In the Final, AS Poissy won over Club Paris Mexico and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18.
