Young Parkonians FC

Young Parkonians FC was one of 30 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Young Parkonians FC, 186 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Young Parkonians FC could be found in Group 33 together with FBK Karlstad, SK Djerv 1919 1 and Rågsveds IF. Young Parkonians FC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IFK Skövde with 0-3. In the Final, Las Vegas Sports Academy won over ED Moratalaz and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Young Parkonians FC comes from London which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around London does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Sporting Duet FC, Kinetic Academy, Heath & Regents Park FC, Bromley Juniors FC, FC Hamlets, Academy FC, Lambeth Tigers FC and European Football Academy).
