Korsnäs IF

Korsnäs IF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Korsnäs IF, 224 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 55 different groups, whereof Korsnäs IF could be found in Group 34 together with Enskede IK 3, Vänersborgs IF 2, LKG - SKF Indonesia and Manchester Grammar School. Korsnäs IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 34. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against GAIS with 1-5. In the Final, ASIOP Apacinti won over IF Elfsborg and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Korsnäs comes from Falun which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Korsnäs IF, the club Hofors AIF does also originate from the area around Falun.
