Thai Spirit FC

Thai Spirit FC was one of three clubs from Thailand that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Thai Spirit FC, 194 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Thai Spirit FC could be found in Group 13 together with Fornebu FK, Lilla Torg FF Blå and Vasastan BK 2. Thai Spirit FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Saltsjöbadens IF 1 with 1-7. In the Final, JSSL Arsenal Singapore won over Barkarö SK 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Thai Spirit FC comes from Bangkok which lies approximately 8600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bangkok does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (BSL Bangkok and FC Bangkok).
