JyPK 03 United

JyPK 03 United was one of 12 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to JyPK 03 United, 47 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof JyPK 03 United could be found in Group 2 together with IF Väster, JSSL Arsenal Singapore and IFK Viksjö. JyPK 03 United continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against KFV Segeberg with 0-2. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over Huddinge IF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 13. JyPK 03 United comes from Jyväskylä which lies approximately 910 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Jyväskylä does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (PU-62 / JyPK yj, Vantaan Jalkapalloseura, Palokan Riento and FC Kuusysi).
