Ystads IF FF

Ystads IF FF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Ystads IF FF, 231 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Ystads IF FF could be found in Group 39 together with Asre, Rælingen FK and Sollefteå GIF FF. Ystads IF FF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 39. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against TuS Komet Arsten with 0-4. In the Final, Senlis, U.S.M. won over Jordan Knights FA and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Ystads comes from Ystad which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ystad does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (ÖT Smygehuk FF, Öja FF and Charlo, SoGK).
