FC Hessleholm

FC Hessleholm was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to FC Hessleholm, 47 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof FC Hessleholm could be found in Group 11 together with KFV Segeberg, Saltsjö-Boo IF and Sävedalens IF. FC Hessleholm continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against JSSL Arsenal Singapore with 0-2. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over Huddinge IF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 13. FC Hessleholm comes from Hässleholm which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hässleholm does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: Hörby FF, Kristianstad FC, Vittsjö GIK, IFK Hässleholm, Markaryds IF, IFK Knislinge, Vinslövs IF, Nosaby IF, Sösdala IF and Kristianstad DFF).
